STEM Forged's Esports Curriculum & Software provides schools with the tools to successfully start or expand esports programs. This curriculum enables school’s coaches to engage students and help them develop the in-game skills they want, and important skills like teamwork and problem-solving that they need.

This program includes a remote training session for coaches, focusing on their esports game of choice. It gives educators the confidence to deliver high-quality esports education and use the user-friendly portal to manage their teams and track student progress.

All STEM Forged programs come with an online portal that gives educators and administrators a view of students’ progress, including unique insights into esports skill development. This portal tracks student progression, giving administrators meaningful data about student and program performance.

Activity Details:

Product Orientation: One hour of professional development covering portal features & walkthrough, game design software introduction, project walkthroughs, and sample class run-through.

Each Activity Includes: A lesson overview detailing the ideas to be covered within a lesson, background information for coaches, a walkthrough of the necessary concepts or project steps, end-of-day key notes, and expansions for lesson topics to provide more challenge.

Recommended Settings: After-school programs, elective courses, esports clubs, and school-based teams.

Reusability & Expansion: Content can be reused across multiple cohorts, with expansions available for advanced lessons and varying difficulty levels.

5 Different Game Curriculums to Choose From:

• Rocket League: Explore the fast-paced world of Rocket League with STEMForged, where students develop not only their gaming skills but also crucial personal skills. This program combines the excitement of Rocket League with lessons in teamwork, resilience, and strategic thinking. Rocket League is a high-energy, physics-based vehicle soccer game that offers a unique blend of soccer and racing. Teams typically consist of 2-3 players, with competitive play focused on teams of 3. This curriculum is designed to challenge and engage players of all skill levels.
• Overwatch 2: Engage with Overwatch 2, a team-based shooter that emphasizes strategic planning and coordination. Players choose from a diverse roster of heroes with unique abilities and roles to work together to achieve objectives. The curriculum integrates in-game strategies with real-world skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication, ensuring students grow both as players and individuals.
• League of Legends: Immerse yourself in League of Legends, a competitive MOBA that demands strategic thinking, teamwork, and quick decision-making. • Apex Legends: Experience the thrill of Apex Legends, a fast-paced battle royale game that focuses on teamwork, strategy, and adaptability. Players choose from a roster of legends, each with unique abilities, and work together to be the last squad standing. The curriculum leverages the excitement of Apex Legends to develop students' critical thinking, teamwork, and resilience, preparing them for both in-game and real-world challenges.
